Tokyo Revengers Season 4 Reveals New Trailer

Aug 24, 2026

Tokyo Revengers is preparing for another trip into the past, and the latest look at Season 4 makes it clear that Takemichi’s most important fight may still be ahead of him.

A new trailer and key visual for Tokyo Revengers: War of the Three Titans Arc were released on August 24, offering fans another look at the anime’s upcoming return before its October 2, 2026 premiere.

The new footage puts the increasingly complicated relationship between Takemichi Hanagaki and Manjiro “Mikey” Sano at the center of the action as Takemichi prepares to travel into the past once again.

This time, his mission isn’t simply about saving Hinata.

He needs to save Mikey.

Tokyo Revengers Season 4 Gets a New Trailer

The newly released promotional video is the fourth trailer for the War of the Three Titans Arc and provides another glimpse at the conflict awaiting Takemichi when the series returns this fall.

After surviving the brutal confrontation between the Tokyo Manji Gang and Tenjiku, Takemichi eventually reaches something he’s spent much of the series desperately trying to achieve: a future where Hinata Tachibana is alive.

There’s just one major problem.

Mikey isn’t there.

Takemichi discovers that Mikey’s future has taken a dramatically darker turn, setting the stage for another journey into the past.

The new trailer emphasizes Takemichi’s determination to save his former friend while previewing the increasingly dangerous battle for control taking place during what becomes known as the Three Titans Era.

Takemichi’s Final Revenge Begins

The War of the Three Titans Arc continues directly after the events of the Tenjiku Arc.

With the previous conflict over, the balance of power has changed dramatically.

Three organizations now find themselves competing for supremacy, creating another dangerous conflict that places Takemichi directly in the middle of the action.

But the stakes are considerably more personal this time.

Takemichi has spent much of Tokyo Revengers changing the past in an effort to prevent tragedy in the future. Saving Hinata has consistently been at the center of that mission.

Now that he’s finally reached a future where she survives, walking away should theoretically be possible.

Instead, Mikey’s fate pulls him back.

That makes the upcoming storyline an important turning point for Takemichi. He’s no longer simply fighting to correct the future he originally wanted to change.

He’s choosing to risk that future again for someone else.

Mikey and Takemichi Take Center Stage in New Visual

The new key visual reinforces that conflict.

Takemichi is shown facing forward with his fist clenched while Mikey appears opposite him wearing his Kanto Manji Gang uniform.

It’s a striking change from the relationship fans witnessed earlier in the series.

Takemichi and Mikey have spent much of Tokyo Revengers connected through the Tokyo Manji Gang, even as Takemichi repeatedly discovered increasingly disturbing versions of Mikey in the future.

The War of the Three Titans Arc brings that relationship into even sharper focus.

Takemichi isn’t simply trying to defeat another enemy.

He’s trying to prevent Mikey from becoming one.

JO1’s “IGNITE” Powers the New Trailer

The latest trailer also gives fans another chance to hear the new opening theme.

Japanese boy band JO1 performs “IGNITE,” which will serve as the opening theme for the War of the Three Titans Arc.

The song provides the soundtrack to the new footage and fits the increasingly intense direction of Takemichi’s next battle.

JO1 members Junki Kono and Issei Mamehara have also spoken about their connection to Tokyo Revengers, with Kono revealing that he was already a fan of the series.

The new season’s ending theme will be “TRICK STAR” by go!go!vanillas.

That gives Tokyo Revengers an entirely new musical identity heading into its latest storyline.

Tokyo Revengers Season 4 Has a New Director

There is also a notable change happening behind the scenes.

Maki Kodaira is directing the War of the Three Titans Arc, taking over from Koichi Hatsumi, who directed the previous seasons.

LIDENFILMS remains responsible for animation production.

Yasuyuki Muto returns for series composition, while Hiroaki Tsutsumi continues handling the music.

A director change can have a noticeable impact on a long-running anime, making Season 4 particularly interesting for viewers who have followed Tokyo Revengers from the beginning.

Fans will get their first real opportunity to see how Kodaira approaches the series when the new episodes arrive in October.

Where Will Tokyo Revengers Season 4 Stream?

The War of the Three Titans Arc begins broadcasting in Japan on October 2, 2026 through MBS, TBS and CBC’s Animeism programming block.

Internationally, the situation is especially important for viewers trying to figure out where they’ll be able to watch the new episodes.

Disney+ will exclusively stream the War of the Three Titans Arc worldwide through its subscription streaming service, excluding mainland China.

That continues the franchise’s relationship with Disney’s streaming platforms following previous international distribution of Tokyo Revengers.

Depending on the region, Disney-owned anime releases may also appear through Hulu or other regional services, so viewers should check local availability as the premiere approaches.

The War of the Three Titans Raises the Stakes

Tokyo Revengers has always mixed gang warfare with something much more personal.

Takemichi isn’t the strongest fighter in the room. In many situations, he’s nowhere close.

What keeps pushing the story forward is his refusal to accept the futures he sees.

Every trip into the past gives him another opportunity to save someone—but every change carries consequences.

The War of the Three Titans Arc takes that concept into particularly interesting territory.

Takemichi has finally accomplished one of his greatest objectives. Hinata is alive.

But achieving that future isn’t enough when Mikey has been lost along the way.

Now Takemichi has to decide how much he’s willing to risk to save him.

When Does Tokyo Revengers Season 4 Premiere?

Tokyo Revengers: War of the Three Titans Arc premieres October 2, 2026.

The anime will be broadcast in Japan through MBS, TBS, CBC and other networks, while Disney+ holds worldwide subscription streaming rights outside mainland China.

With the new trailer now released, the countdown to Takemichi’s next—and potentially most personal—revenge is officially underway.

For longtime fans, the biggest question isn’t simply whether Takemichi can change the future again.

It’s whether he can finally save Mikey from himself.
